The LifeStartÔ Series cabinets can include a Medtronic LIFEPAK^® 500 Automated External Defibrillator or LIFEPAK^® CR ^Plus Defibrillator. 

The Olympus 7900 Series Cabinets are designed to hold an AED and emergency oxygen unit. The Olympus 1600 Series Cabinets are designed to hold an emergency oxygen unit. The American Heart Association states: “During cardiopulmonary emergencies use supplemental oxygen as soon as it is available. Short-term therapy with 100% oxygen is beneficial and not toxic. We recommend oxygen … for all patients with suspected acute coronary syndromes.” (Guidelines 2000, Section 3: Adjuncts for oxygenation).
